Audiobag is
headquartered in Georgetown, Texas. Georgetown is the number 2 spot in the country in a recent list of "100 best places to live and launch (a startup business)." The ranking is featured in the April 2008 issue of Fortune Small Business.
Audiobag founder Jack Josey started in the radio business as the youngest DJ in Texas on radio station KAZZ-FM in Austin. Jack learned his early audio production skills from his father, Bill Josey (founder of the legendary Sonobeat Records). Jack later owned and managed KGTN AM/FM 25 miles north of Austin in Georgetown. After selling the station in December 1986, Jack established The Commercial Store -- an audio production company specializing in writing and producing radio commercials and station imaging and IDs. The name was changed in 2000 to Audiobag. We created our first Podcast Intro (for Mommycast.com) on Jan. 26, 2005.
